That's a difficult message for many to comprehend. As I take it, the ascension is when you surrender you life to God and have a willingness to follow where ever he leads, and trust the result in his hand. It's easy to get caught up in the battle as you see it between good and evil on this earth.
Today at church, it was so awesome. God presence was amazing. During worship he filled me spiritually to the point I felt like a spiritual Lion. For just a few moments every ache and pain of this worn out body was removed. It was so refreshing and invigorating. The next thing was I felt our Pastors need for prayer. I could hear his heart crying out, so I prayed for him as the church worshiped. Interestingly later during the Pastors message he talked about how he felt such a burden and needed our prayer. During his message he broke down crying twice. What was so amazing was how strongly God's presence encircled our Pastor and helped him make it through. God was right there holding him and not allowing him to falter. I found out from his wife that just yesterday our Pastor was terribly sick running a temperature and was in bed all day.
We have such a caring God that it is humbling how attentive he is to us when we are in need.
Amazes me that more people have not tuned in to the Porch. Really, this is brilliant work by the author and hugely relevant to current 2023 world situation.
